Feast London

This happened about 7 weeks ago, but I've not had Wifi at my father's for a while, and have recently been away.
So anyway, 7 weeks ago on a bright Saturday afternoon, I took my sister's boyfriend Josh to Brick Lane for a rather spectacular spread.
Feast is a market place of pop up restaurants. It's a pretty new event in the grand scheme of things and only happens a couple of times a year, but it really is a great day out. You can visit their website here http://www.wefeast.co.uk/
They're celebrating their first birthday this year, so you guys should definitely head on over!

Anyway, we headed over and started our day off with drinks.
I went for a G.E.T - a Gin, Elderflower and Tonic. Refreshing and delicious.

Once we were suitably hydrated, we did our rounds of the stands, exploring all the options before we made any decisions.

There was Mishkin's...

As well as various others.

I decided to go the whole hog and make the most of the feast before me by choosing a starter, main AND dessert.
Josh was slightly less gluttonous and only went for a main and dessert.
I started with a perfect corndog from Mishkin's, complete with sauerkraut, jalapenos, and green tomato ketchup

Delicious. Full of flavour with a brilliant crunch from the sauerkraut and jalapenos.
Then we took a wander over to the Fundi stand...

Where Josh ordered a pepperoni pizza for his main...

I headed straight over to Patty&Bun for my main, and ordered my favourite - an Ari Gold...

JUST CHECK OUT THAT CHEESE!
We found a little patch of fake grass and got stuck in...

My burger was a taste of juicy, cheesy, gooey heaven. The bun was perfect, as was the patty and cheese. I literally could not fault it.
As for Josh's pizza, 7 weeks later he is still maintaining that it's the best pizza he's ever eaten. Must be good!

Once mains were demolished, it was time to satisfy the sweet tooth with dessert.
I knew exactly what I wanted.
A peanut butter and jelly ice cream sandwich from Spuntino!

Truly fabulous. Just the right amount of sweet and salty. Perfection in a little cardboard tray.
Josh headed over to When Mac Met Cheese for a rather decadent dessert choice...

Deep fried oreos!
Needless to say, he couldn't finish them all.
By this point we were a little bit drunk on food, so after one last drink, we trundled off home to sleep it all off.
A deliciously satisfying but highly calorific outing! One to be repeated for sure, but I'll definitely be waiting a few months before I eat that much again!
