I have had a stressful summer.
I've been working my socks off as an intern, trying my absolute hardest to impress people there. I started just 2 days after I finished uni so by the time I finished the internship, I was more than ready for a holiday.
So this happened...
Yep, I took Louis and his dad to DISNEYLAND PARIS!
After an early start and a somewhat stressful underground trip with tonnes of luggage and a 5 year old, we boarded the Eurostar, where I immediately started annoying the boys by insisting on taking hundreds of photos.
Louis is just too adorable. He was such an angel the entire journey.
A few hours later, we arrived at Disney and went straight into the parks.
But by this time, I had a very tired boy so we only stayed in the park a short while before heading to the hotel for dinner and a rest before the light show at 11pm (which I unfortunately got no pictures of, sorry)
The following day, we planned on hitting the parks hard.
Louis was adamant he was going to go on every single ride in there. Unfortunately for him, neither his dad nor myself are very tall, so the height restrictions proved a little problematic for Louis - he is a tiny little thing!
Nevertheless, we soldiered on, screaming on runaway trains, zapping aliens, relaxing on boats, and exploring every nook and cranny in there.
Here are some of the photos...
After a day of nothing but fun, I got down to the serious business...
....OF SHOPPING!
I made a couple of rather pricey purchases - a Buzz Lightyear's Lazer Blast gun for Louis, and pair of Minnie Mouse ears for me!
The ears I had quite a bit of fun with - I may have got a little bit carried away taking selfies back at the hotel later...
I'd booked Café Mickey for dinner that night, so we left the park and headed for the restaurant.
It was super busy as it's really popular with the characters.
We were lucky enough to meet a few!
I was so happy for Louis at this point, I could not wipe the smile off my face!
After dinner we had intended to go swimming, but as soon as we got into our room, we all went out like lights.
I'll leave it here for now as I still have quite a few photos left from our last two days so I'll put them in a separate post.
I'm all Disneyed out for now!
