London Original Print Fair 2013

A couple of weekends ago, I took my friend Alex to the London Original Print Fair at the Royal Academy - the longest running specialist print fair in the world!
I was given free tickets by an art school I'm in contact with, and seeing as I study History of Art, they were very much appreciated!

I thought I'd share with you a few photos I took of some of the work there... (unfortunately they're all from my instagram as I didn't fancy making a nuisance of myself with my massive DSLR)

My favourite were the Peter Blake prints as I really love the circus theme.
I'm currently trying to persuade my parents to buy me one for my 21st - I had a circus themed 18th, so feel it would be entirely fitting!

I was invited by the City and Guilds of London Art School.
They are one of the few art schools in London that still teach traditional etching techniques and therefore, had there own stand. Their stand presented a selection of prints curated by their head of Printroom, Jason Hicklin.

Oh, and this is what I wore...

Blazer - New Look, Shirt - Paradise Found, Skirt - H&M, Glasses - Gucci
