Last week we went to Vicenza and saw this masterpiece.
Palladio's Teatro Olimpico is the first fully realised theatre since antiquity.
It's easily the most impressive thing I've seen since being in Italy - you can't help but go 'wow' when you walk in.
Made a nice change from all the churches too!
I think you can still see plays there. If that's true, it's going on my list of things to do before I die.
I'm so glad I had the opportunity to visit, and I'd strongly recommend a trip there to anyone travelling Italy. It really does take your breath away.
