Venice begins...

Apologies - lack of posts is once again due to having no internet.

On Sunday, I moved to Venice for a term of study as part of my history of art degree. 

I'm living with my friend, Helena, and our friends Alex and Charlie live just round the corner. We've spent a lot of time going from apartment to apartment, but even more time walking all over the place since there are no cars here...

Lecture-wise, so far we've just had a some introductory stuff, meaning we've had a lot of time to explore. 

I'll leave you with some of the photos we've taken since Sunday. Posts will hopefully become more structured when site visits and stuff come into play.

Unfortunately, they begin with us looking somewhat bedraggled since I arrived in torrential rain and went straight out for dinner, but they do improve...
