The Summer Hols have come to an end for my little one, but I still have so many pictures to share.
I was really pleased with how much we managed to cram in this summer, especially as I was working in London for 6 weeks.
We've spent some much needed quality time together, and we're both a lot happier for it.
Anyway, just a small post on a little trip to the beach last week.
The sea is basically at the bottom of my garden, so we took a little wander down to the bay to collect some pebbles for crafts.
Louis, ever the independent young man, sauntered off ahead (don't worry, there are basically no cars on this road and he is very safety savvy)

As well as being independent, he's apparently a poser too...

We hit the beach and I set out the towel in the sunshine. Louis promptly curled up on it - I swear to God he is a lizard or something, basking in the sun like that.

It was decided that the best pebbles were to be found nearer the sea, so Louis went a-searching

Before beginning (according to him) the very important task of sifting the pebbles...

Apparently this one was perfect...

He was pleased with himself!
This was Louis' attempt with my camera...

Interesting...
Once we'd filled the bucket up to the brim with 'perfect' pebbles, we headed home.

Who'd have thought you could do an entire post on stones?
We did actually used these ones for a craft and I'm quite pleased with how they came out.
I'll do a post on it sometime in the near future, but for now, I'm going to curl up and recover from Bestival!
