Tipsy Tea Party!

My best friend, Ella, recently hit 20! She wanted to do something a bit different to simply hitting the town, so she decided to have a tea party. She's into all things girly and homely, and absolutely LOVES baking, so this idea was perfect for her. She recently moved in with her boyfriend so she held it in her rather cute seaside flat!

We were all instructed to bring a teapot which could be filled with an alcoholic beverage of our own choosing.
I sported the cute union jack vessel which held my very fitting choice of British booze - Gordons!
There were endless cakes, and Ella's mother had made a gorgeous vegetable tagine, but I forgot to get a photo (oops!)
Some of the girls made Ella a birthday cake so, despite her protests, we sung Happy Birthday to our birthday girl!

Then there was cake cutting...

And tea (gin) drinking...

And all round happy, tipsy, love!

And we all left full of cake, drink, and smiles!

A wonderful night!
